Every Lost Valley Dulcimer is Hand Made, one at at time.

No routers or shapers are used to round the edges over, only a belt sander, pad sander, and hand sanding.

And, unlike many (nearly all) of the others out there, the sound holes are hand carved into the (floating) sound board. There has never been a lazer-cut or store-bought insert, glued into a sound hole. (maybe not as fancy - but not as quick or easy either). Also not as typical. Your sound hole (your dulcimer) will not "match" any other.

This is Not - a mass-produced - production model.

Each one is unique. The parts off one will not fit another. (only exceptin being the treble and bass bridges)

This Is - and always has been a Made-By-Hand Instrument.

Using only the finest materials available.

It takes a long time to make a Lost Valley Dulcimer. .

But it will Last a Long Time.
